Every post and page, read aloud with natural voices and word-by-word highlighting.

== Description ==

RetroAudio adds a Listen button to your posts and pages. Visitors hear your content in natural voices while each word is highlighted, and they can also:

* switch to a clean reader view with bigger text, an easy-to-read font and high-contrast colors,
* translate the page or a selection into 50+ languages and hear it,
* look up words in a built-in dictionary,
* get a summary or an easy-read version (Pro plan),
* use a reading mask to focus on a few lines,
* download the page as an MP3.

Audio is made the first time a page is played and then cached, so later listeners cost nothing.

This plugin connects to the RetroAudio service (https://audio.theretrochat.com). When a visitor presses Listen or uses a reading tool, the text of that part of the page is sent to RetroAudio to make the audio or text. See the terms (https://audio.theretrochat.com/terms) and privacy policy (https://audio.theretrochat.com/privacy).
